rebuild secondary manager

Hi, we have a badly corrupted secondary manager, what are the options for rebuilding it? We didn't have a snapshot backup, just a standard backup and restoring that did not help (seems to be postgres is corrupted and cpm wont start). We also do not have console access to the VM, is there a way we can factory reset everything but keep the management IP? I also thought about doing a clean install of R81.10 but I presume that will also wipe the network settings.

thanks

Hi,

AFAIK, for secondary management you can just do a fresh install and do a FULL HA sync from Primary and all will be good.

I second what @just13pro said. You need to nuke the second management server, remove its object from the database, then reinstall and re-sync.

Make sure you do have a properly done and actionable primary server backup.

Unfortunately it didn't go well. I did a "clean" install via cpuse of R81.10, I was ready for the IP to remain intack or default back to 192.168.1.1, however the nic came back up but the IP did not on either address, its been 24 hours now. I suspect a remote hands at the data centre will be needed.
