monitord high CPU usage in R80.10

Hello,

We have gateways and mgmt. servers which show a high CPU usage by monitord daemon.

I followed the procedure from sk93587 (which actually says the issue has been fixed in R80.10) but it did not help.

Now the size of the /var/log/db file is under 100 M but monitord still uses a lot of CPU, it's most often at 100%. 

Any idea why this issue still persists in R80.10 if Check Point says it has been fixed? 

What else can I try to fix this?

When it comes to sk93587 i would say thats a temp fix for the issue.

Considering that after just deleting /var/log/db apparently it wasn't getting re-created, to start with a completely empty /var/log/db I've modified the procedure in sk93587 like this:

[Expert@HostName]# tellpm process:monitord
[Expert@HostName]# cp /var/log/db /var/log/db_archive_<DATE>
[Expert@HostName]# sqlite3 /var/log/db
sqlite> DELETE FROM cpu_stat;
sqlite> DELETE FROM hwmonitor;
sqlite> DELETE FROM mem_stat;
sqlite> DELETE FROM net_stat;
sqlite> VACUUM;
sqlite> .exit
