log_stats multiple files left behind

I have over 6 thousand of these 1kb stat files left on the managers log directory.
They follow the format of date_seq#_.log_stats

My question is, what is the value of this file for any archiving purpose?

My goal is to just dump these abandon files as the original log and ptr files have already been archived off the manager.

My current process retains and purges them automatically so its really about what to do with the ones left behind from Dec 2019 - mid April 2020.

Yes, you can safely delete these *.log_stats files.

They aren't needed (simply for statistic purposes).

They are supposed to be deleted automatically, but perhaps there's a small issue here, I'll try to look into it.

Were the ones from before December 2019 deleted automatically as they should be?

What version were you running Pre & Post Decemeber-2019?

As I know this kind of logs are meant for statistics only.
