What are the system requirements for installing r80.10 on our own Hardware?
I assume you mean installing as VM?
I had 8 GB on my laptop as well and it was ugly. Since upgrading to 16 GB it works well. Running a SMS and a gateway simultaneously is very smooth now.
Agreed, if you are installing in a VM on a Windows machine, using a machine with anything less than 16GB of RAM is asking for trouble.
If you're just talking about SmartConsole, SmartDashboard, etc, it should be fine.
I think the network adapter is important...
