What is Happen If I Just Patch Only Management Server on Environment Cluster

Hi All,

I plan to patch management server, currently my customer using R80.20 Take 101 and i will patch with JHF Take 205.

The concern is my customer environment there is an cluster and sandblast, the question if i only patch management sever will make problem on my customer environment?

Note: The purpose patching is to upgrade version Log Export, so for now log export can running but there is no filtering for log want to exported.

This is a normal occurrence since the Mgmt server generally should be the same or higher than the GW it manages so it is done first.

There is no need to align JHF builds between Management and gateways. Either can install a newer JHF without any compatibility issues.

Chris is correct...as long as your mgmt server is SAME or HIGHER than your managed gateways, you are fine, no need to worry.

And to add to my last statement, @Adity12 , even if jumbo hotfix is lower on mgmt, thats totally fine too, as long as version is same or higher..so say your mgmt is R81.10 jumbo 9, gateways can be R81.10 jumbo xx (anything higher than 9) and it will still work without issues.
