Hello All,
We have installed Checkpoint Version R81.10 and its respective Smart Console.
Monitoring and Logging/Status are activated in Blades.
But we are unable to see any logs in Smart Console - Logs & Monitor.
The error is - Failed to get results.
Please find the attached image for reference. Kindly let me know the changes to make.
Thanks
Muthu Mahadevan
Please update the SmartConsole client per the notification shown and advise the JHF Take used on the management?
I can see no SMS ???
Why are there multiple threads created for this issue?

If it's urgent and you have support please contact TAC for assistance.
hello,
have you tried on your management/log server to restart CKP services ?
(like cpstop & cpstart )
On our LOG server (as it's separate than the management) usually I get OK if I restart the indexing service - give it a try:
"Restart the process of "Log indexing" by running:
-For Smart management server run the following.
[Expert@HostName:0]# evstop
[Expert@HostName:0]# evstart "
Ty,
Hello. all.
I also had a similar issue.
No error messages are generated.
The same goes for opening past log files.
Just the screen is blank.
cpstop;cpstart does not solve it, and rebooting does not solve it.
So, the current log is opened with SmartView Tracker.
smartview tracker works fine.
HW: smart-1 600S
OS: R81.10 + JHF T79 + latest Smartconsole
Log indexing off.
Can you send the output of df -h on mgmt server? The smart console error could be related to it.
Andy
hello.
[Expert@Test_server:0]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/vg_splat-lv_current 50G 11G 40G 21% /
/dev/sda1 291M 80M 197M 29% /boot
tmpfs 16G 5.1M 16G 1% /dev/shm
/dev/mapper/vg_splat-lv_log 1.6T 1.4T 181G 89% /var/log
cgroup 16G 0 16G 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
Ok, so I see there is 181 G free, but its at 89% capacity. Any way you can get it down to at least 80% free and try again?
