Unable to login Webui

Hi All,

Greetings...!!!

I am unable to login WebUI and page is not getting loaded, I have verified few checks below are the result.

All services are running fine.

Testing the SIC is successfully communication.

checked  licenses are never expired status.

Raised a case with checkpoint team informed me that /tmp/xgets is missing, only restart  is the resolution to resolve the issue.

I have performed CPstop and Cpstart, Kindly suggest me if you have any idea on this still I am not able to login via Webgui.

If no other option is there means,  I have restart my device today during off business hours

cprestart won't fix issues with confd (where this error is likely coming from).
You can try restarting confd with something like (from expert mode):

  • ps -auxw | grep confd | awk '{print #2}' | xargs kill -9
  • udw process:confd:signal kill

Otherwise, your best bet is to reboot as TAC suggested.

Do we need downtime to run the above command.

Rebooting the machine it will take time to get approval from all the stake holders because of production site.

No, it restarts the configuration daemon for Gaia OS.
It should not require any downtime.

Try incognito mode as well. Could help if something from your browser is interfering.

I have a feeling its something simple. Try this...from clish

set web daemon-enable off

save config

set web daemon-enable on

set web-ssl port 4434

save config

Exit clish and try https://x.x.x.x:4434

Let us know if that works. Message me directly if it fails, lets do remote session to see if we can fox it for you.

Can you send a screenshot? Unless your user does not have those permissions, it should work, for sure.
