Unable to add domain log server
Hi
I am trying to add a domain log server to our MDS. I can configure the SIC but it then takes 10-15 minutes to go through the initialisation and fails. The message shown is:
"Failed to reach peer after restart. Check that peer 'XXXXXXXX' is up and running"
The log server is up and running and is reachable from both primary and secondary MDS servers. I'm having difficulty finding any other log messages for this. Anyone had this issue or help in troubleshooting it?
We are running R81.10 with JHF take 55
Thanks
Roy

There appear to be a few bugs related to log servers fixed in Take 95, which recently became the recommended JHF for R81.10.
Might be worth installing this, else engaging the TAC to assist: https://help.checkpoint.com
