The log repository quota has been exceeded.

Just run into it and the only references available are not really applicable ("log_sys_message: The log repository quota has been exceeded. No file could be deleted" alert in log... ).

SMS is R80.20 on ESXi VM.

Any ideas on how to remedy this issue?

It actually was the "log_sys_message: The log repository quota has been exceeded. No file could be deleted" alert in log... but with a caveat: the log indicating this issue does not show where it has arrived from:

Since I was working in VSX environment, EACH cluster member as well as EVERY VS' property had to be adjusted to the recommended values to solve the problem:

P.S. the R80.20 screenshot in sk is incorrect: it is from a management server, not the gateway.

Hmm... ÐšÐ°Ñ€Ñ‚инки по запросу think png

My colleague told me today that the same thing happen on our server, but it is a totally different setup - MDS, R77.30, Smart-1 50.

There is the same error message in logs on one of CMAs (or DMS), there are no logs from firewalls, /var/log has 10% of free space, logging is properly configured and automatically deleted. On the secondary CMA everything is fine, logs are visible. We tried to manually cleanup some more space and switch the log file, didn't help. The next thing we would like to try is just to restart this CMA. We didn't spend much time on the issue today and decided to continue tomorrow.

Well, in your case with 10% free space remaining, the issue described here may be the reason:

"log_sys_message: The log repository quota has been exceeded. No file could be deleted" alert in log...

In my case, it is a brand new lab setup with barely any logs in it.

But please do let me know if and when you'll get to the bottom of your issue. Who knows, perhaps they are related or I could infer something from your resolution.

Meanwhile, I'll try to migrate export-import in a new management VM and hope that'll do the trick.
