Hi CheckPoint,
Today I upgraded the SmartConsole through an odd way, by downloading and installing the CPUSE package on the CPM (it's available for the gateways as well) which resulted in downloading the Windows installer file SmartConsole.exe with SHA-256 11cd4f550c341c40e53fdfe5481d9b9137dcec27a05fae82b9d1ce02241e4356
I tried to search the version and the hash of file for further information and the changelogs but couldn't find any documents regarding the R81.20 JHF 4 for SmartConsole.
Could you please share some links and information for the R81.20.9700.4 ?
Regards,
Sarshar Dadashzadeh
@G_W_Albrecht we are in the final stages of the jumbo testing this is why you see it
I hope it will be release very soon
I have the R81.20 GA installed and Dashboard (update enabled) has version R81.20.9700.633. On https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solut... R81.20.9700.631 can be downloaded.
Could not find any downloadable CPUSE package...

I see it now, too...
All of our R81.20 firewalls/CPM showed an update is available, when I checked the CPUSE, they showed the new SC, just like other CPUSE packages I could download, verify and install it; but install means downloading it to your endpoint through the browser.
You are 100% right, I see the same in my R81.20 lab as well
@the_rock as we are in the final stage of the Jumbo release you can see it in CPUSE already
we will send the formal mails in the next 1 hour or so...
Matan.
Sounds good @MatanYanay ✌
Released 🙂
Alright, lets give it a go lol
Hey @MatanYanay , quick question about something slightly unrelated, since we are talking about R81.20...any idea when first jumbo for the gateway version may come out? I had client ask me that, but I have no clue, so figured maybe you guys may have some info 🙂
Never mind @MatanYanay , as I asked this question, I noticed brand new post that answered my question 🙂
Cheers,
This screenshot contains an error message only !
Together with R81.20 Jumbo Take 8, R81.20.9700.640 has been released on march 7th:
Deleted the R81.20.9700.4...
New Smart Console is available for download as part of this release.
The only relevant change is new build number - build #640 ( this is why we deleted build 4)
Installed it yesterday already, together with JT 8.
I will wait for auto update to "kick in"...lets hope some time next week : - )
A link like the following will be made available in due course for R81.20 with such information for SmartConsole releases.
