SmartConsole R80.40 - The operation timed out
I am unable to logging into the SmartConsole R80.40. The message I get is The operation timed out. Advise please.

That can be caused by so many reasons. First off, does issue happen for every user? Does it happen on any given PC you tested?
Also, have you tried maybe portable smart console or web version? https://mgmt_ip/port_number
example -> https://10.10.10.23:4434
