SNMP: Different sysName required for Monitoring CP R81.10 MDS
Hi all,
We are using LibreNMS and I want to monitor the virtual managers separately - so I know if a CMA is up or down.
Basically I want an alert is there is changes to mdsstat
I can only add the CMAs separately if they have different sysName in SNMP configuration.
How can that be done?
I find commands for vs, but not for mds.
The command:
# snmpwalk -v 2c -c <Community> localhost 1.3.6.1.2.1 | grep sysName
shows: "SNMPv2-MIB::sysName.0 = STRING: FWMSDM
I tried in clish:
set snmp sysName.1 CMA1
but I get: CLINFR0329 Invalid command
Anybody had any success with this ?
Kind regards
Jan
PS: We are running:
Check Point CPinfo Build 914000227 for GAIA

That's not a valid clish command per: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R81.10/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R81.10_Gaia_AdminGuide/Topics-GAG/S...
