Name resolution for logs
What is the mechanism for name resolution of logs in SmartConsole? Most of them resolve names, but I have several IPs addresses that do not resolve, yet if I do an nslookup from my GW, log server, or my machine (all using same DNS server), they resolve to a name. For example: 34.241.80.142 does not resolve in SmartConsole.

The name resolution should occur on the management/log server.
Is it consistently specific hosts that can’t resolve or?

Hi,
1. By right click a host on the log view you can quickly create an object in your DB that will resolve it.
2. Is there a difference between the resources? One is Akamai while the other is AWS? If so, is the DNS server in Akamai? Is the SMS in Akamai as well?
