Modify password strength SmartConsole
Hi,
We need to apply strong password policies for SmartConsole users who are already using certificate. In this moment it accepts 12345678 as password for the certificate which is really bad. How can we change that? Gaia password policies are good, but sadly don't apply to SmartConsole users. I was looking for info about it but I can't find this topic.
Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately there are no settings for password strength on SmartConsole users.
This can be enforced when using an external authentication mechanism like RADIUS (versus internal passwords).

Starting R81, passwords in smart console are not limited to 8 characters, so it can be any length. As far as password policy, I agree with phoneboy, I dont believe thats present.

I'll also add that in R81.20 we're adding SAML support for SmartConsole login. That should give customers many new options for better password strength, multi-factor authentication and more.
