Management High Availability

What is Checkpoints stance on having redundant management servers? I assume it's recommended to have two servers running in HA in a production environment? Is that recommendation documented anywhere?

Secondly, do Checkpoint have a cloud offering for managing gateways? Looking for a solution that will support SMB 1500s and Quantum 6200.

Two or more Mgmt servers are supported for high availability.

Depending on your requirements this can be a mix of machine types.

Smart-1 Cloud is our "Management as a Service" offering but Management can also be a VM(s) hosted on Azure/AWS etc

From my experience, only large companies use that...ie banks, MSPs, engineering firms, with lots of locations worldwide.

Though example I gave is more for MDS, mgmt HA is never a bad idea if you manage lots of gateways.
