MDS upgrade to R82.10

Hello guys, 

Issue: Major Versions missing from Gaia web portal  / clish ( show installed packages all)

I'm planning on upgrading MDS R81.20 JHA T120  standalone AWS EC2 instance ( 16vCPU , 64 GB RAM, 2 TB Storage deployed 2 yrs ago) to R82.10.

Upgrade tools are at the latest version, CPUSE the latest version all seems ok. 

I've uploaded these 2 files in Gaia CPUSE, but were not validated.  I don't have any Major Versions available, just JHA T122 available for download (see the attachment)

Blink_image_1.1_Check_Point_R82.10_T464_MultiDomainServer.tgz and   Check_Point_R82.10_T464_Gaia_Install_and_Upgrade.tar

Any suggestions? 

I went through the pain of upgrading using advanced upgrade 3 yrs ago and I would like to perform an in-place upgrade.

In-place upgrades on cloud-hosted instances usually require a specific image to do so.
We don't have one for R82.10 yet, at least from that SK.

I'm not familiar with CP on AWS, but wouldn't that also be a candidate for setting up a new management system in a dummy environment with R82.10 and then using migrate tools to transfer the database and swap the management systems? Or is that not as easy in the cloud as it is on-premises in VMware?

This is one of the reasons I don't like export and import as it;s not straight forward. 

In public cloud you can't build in paralel another VM instance and keep the IP addresses (at least not the primary IP address) + you have an issue with existing logs.

That's exactly what I was looking for. I uploaded the specific image in Gaia portal and not it appears in Major version section.

There's only one error which needs to be fixed from SmartConsole "The following domains are not assigned to latest Global domain version. Perform Reassign Global Policy and run the operation again."

I looked at the sk Phoneboy provided and does show R82.10 there, but I cant really tell if it is compatible for mgmt part as well. When I click download, its not clear based on the description.

Maybe someone else can confirm for sure.

Don't see why it wouldn't apply for management also.
