Logs not available in SmartView/SmartConsole

Hey All,

I tried pinging 8.8.8.8 from security gateway server but I don't find the logs for them on SmartView/SmartConsole. I could find yesterday's logs when I pinged the same Google DNS server-8.8.8.8. 

I did a manual failover for testing purpose this morning. Can someone please help me out on finding the logs for the same?

Were any rule changes made, is logging for implied rules enabled?

What is the deployment environment in used? Locally Managed or centrally managed?
