Loading smartview message on R82 mgmt server
Hey guys,
Hope someone might be able to help me out with this, since Im trying to confirm for a customer that mgmt server works well after upgrade form R81.20 to R82, since they are super interested to first upgrade their producton management.
Here is the thing...I did lab upgrade, all is fine, except when going to logs and monitor, it keeps saying loading smartview and nothing happens. I did cprestart, evstip and evstart, reboot, no joy.
Even built brand new R82 mgmt, copied httpd2 files from /web/conf and /web/xonf/extra dir, including httpd2-smartview file, rebooted, exact same problem.
On top of that, though that could have been an issue from before, cant load https://ipaddress/smartview link either, but not 100% positive thats related to the upgrade.
I attached the error. I even copied and verified serverSettings.props file, but same problem.
Tx as always for the help! For what is worth, on clean R82 mgmt install, all works fine, logs and also smartview page.

Below is how I fixed it 🙂
-built brand new R82 clean mgmt
-exported config from existing one using migrate server
-installed jumbo 12 on new one and imported the config
-rebooted new server, logged into smart console, installed policy and database, boom, all works, along with smartview!

There are several potential SKs on the issue but they refer to older versions.
I would start by restarting the Security Management server processes to see if solve the issue.
If not, contact Check Point Support.
