How stop popup "A new SmartConsole ist ready to install"

Is there an option or configuration setting to stop the popup. I even do not wont to download a package I never can insall.

Every 10-20-30 minutes there is this pupup. I cant update because as usual we have a client without admin level user.

Appreciate a solution.

Thank's will try to get the reg-key configured by our admins.

Will take a while to get this done.

SK Chris gave is definitely what you need to do. Had case with TAC for this before and they provided the same.
