Gaia 80.40 lost access to SSH, ICMP and WebUI

Hello folks.
I've setted up a lab here to make a hands on over checkpoint but I got stuck at the very beginning of everything.

I have only firewall, app control, url filtering and monitoring blades installed.

Ido have a rule accepting traffic to my standalone firewall (mgmt and gtw) and yet, I can't access it.

from the console on the vm I can ping every computer on the network except the internet. (I think I messed up something on the internet gateway during the installation process, that's why I was trying to access webUI in the first place).

I'm using vmware workstation.

I'd appreciate any insight here. I'm doing a training for the checkpoint since I am a former user of the forti ones hehe.

Sounds like you don't have a valid license and the default policy is loaded.
What is the output of the following commands:

  • fw stat
  • cplic print

hey PhoneBoy, thanks for replying.

I do have it licensed as eval. They will expire in may 3rd.

the two commands you mentioned are deprecated and says to see sk144112 for alternative.

hi PhoneBoy, thanks for replying.

I do have licenses for eval, they will expire in may 3rd.

I tried the commands but it seems they are deprecated. there's an advise to check sk1441112

on the sk144112 I found the equivalent commands:

show security-gateway policy = fw stat

ckpt1.png

cplic print = show license status

ckpt2.png

I have croped a few lines of the license to preserve identity.

anyone could help?

Console, fw unloadlocal, check again. Most probably your policy blocks the connectivity
