How best can I apply a limit to windows updates so that when the downloads start, the limit needs to apply to the download.

Hi,
I don't know if I got exactly what you means but see bellow if a rule like that can help you.
You can choose "More..." in Action field and then set up a limit.
If you need you can create more objects limits according your needs.
Thanks.

Thank you for the response. If I might ask , wont this affect the updates completion as if I understand correctly this will drop excessive traffic to the one limited?
I want the updates to continue , but just reduce the bandwidth

Ronald, with this rule you will limit the traffic and not block.
