Backup Security Management Server using cli to filezilla

hello,

I am having a challenge whereby my backup of my lab security management server running on r80.40 to filezilla running on windows 10 is not working. I amusing the command below;

backup ftp ip 172.16.10.9 path /c/scp/ username admin password admin interactive

and I get the output below;

Creating backup package. Press CTRL+C to exit from interactive mode
Performing ftp backup
ftp backup has failed.
Failed to transfer the package to the remote server: 172.16.10.9
SMS-1>

From the CLI, can you FTP to your Windows 10 machine?

yes, my same isssue , from CLI can FTP to FTP server

You can do it from the Gaia Portal (UI) or CLI

Some think is laughing matter , but we have to be a contortionist in order to have a decent backup to restore in case of necessity.....

Backup only back the Gaia operating system....Linux based.

Snapshot give a full image of the device but then you have go thru a contortion to export it in a safe place...

Not to mention database exportation....depending if it a Management device or an Events server....

there are few more contortions there too.
