Maestro Masters
Round Table session with Maestro experts
Hey,
I have noticed something on one of my Maestro Appliance, the CPU usage in the VS0 is always so high. I can see the spikes in Grafana too. Although, the Appliances are not overloaded or anything, actually the other way around. I do not have a lot of traffic and the Appliance 9800 with 40 CPUs. And the same thing I see on the STANDBY appliance. In VS0 I have around 40% usage with some K Throughput Which does not make any sense.
VER. R81.20 Take 89
Is this a known issue or been solved with new Takes ?
It could be that the VS0 CPU is shared by other VS systems. Please share output:
fw ctl affinity -l
top, ps auxw and top -H could give more hints.
Regarding open bugs, there are a few , also for Maestro start to check the 2 below:
https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk183251
https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk183490
Also check with CPVIEW if the SND's are not very high loaded, this is also open bug.

ps auxw output shows the bug that was posted above. I would upgrade. If you want to confirm open TAC ticket.
