Migrating Security Policy From Locally Managed 1490s to Infinity Portal Managed 1590s
I am down to the deadline on migrating to my new 1590s. I hope to do that this weekend. I am not sure how to do this in the Infinity Portal, but I have a firewall rule that requires a service object group. It seems to be a limitation of the portal that I can only use on object in a rule. Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks
Erik

Just for clarification, are you referring to [Smart-1 Cloud] service, or [Spark Management(SMP)] in terms of Infinity Portal?
If the 1590 is managed by [Spark Management(SMP)] then restoring a backup file created on 1490 then restore on 1590 should support your needs regarding policy migration.

I am creating a plan on portal.checkpoint.com. That is what I was told to do by my SE.
