permission profiles - modifying reports - view settings missing

I'm trying to set someone up with permissions tobe able to view logs and reports in smartview/smartconsole, and be able to generate reports.

Almsot everything is working, but they are unable to edit the "view settings" in a report. the button in the drop down doesn't appear for them.  They basically just need to be able to toggle the 'split table across multiple pages' option.

I've ensured they have full write permissions in the monitoring and logging section, and the events and reports section.

I've also tried deleting the account and profile and rebuilding them. All the accounts with full admin are able to access those settings, so i'm unsure if this is a bug or something. I might just be missing something obvious for this too.

Thanks!

Can you send screenshot of how you configured it? I can also test it in my lab.

Here's the screenshots of the profile settings, and where the view settings option is missing.

I have everything in the other tab set to read. Adding write to all those objects feels like its giving the account too much edit permissions. Being able to edit reports shouldnt need to also be able to edit the https inspection policy or be able to modify user permissions.

Im with you there, agree with your logic. Maybe check with TAC and see what they say. I will see if I can make it work with same settings you have.

K, just tested in the lab with EXACT same settings you have (both R81.20 and R82) and result was the same. No idea if this is a bug or expected. Maybe someone from CP can confirm.
