@AngelettaA  "dbset backup:override_hfs t" will work, but if there is no match in HFs there can be some incompatibility,

@manjesh Therefore - the best course is to install the same HFs on the new machine and only then restore.

Hi,

Did you restored the system with the same software and (custom) hotfixes as the system you created the backup on?

When restoring a backup, you must be on the same version and hotfix level.

Gaia backups should only be restored on exactly the same version of software they were originally taken.

HI
manjesh,

the error you get when you try to restore is the following;

"Error: 'verify_restore_f': hotfix file does not match to current machine"

have you tried running this command in expert?
"dbset backup:override_hfs t"

and then restore again?
