The year 2038 comes closer

In some cases applications still use the unix timestamp which is a signed 32 bit integer.

As it turns out it's limited lifespan is now slowly creaping up into odd places.

If you want to have some fun try to install R77.30 Smart Center in your lab and see if you run into issues.

Only after you played with it go and read sk122612.

Funny you should mention it: I have just had a discussion about possible implication of this with my son.

just a reminder that all Internal CA certificates are only valid till 2038 (sk158096). Not that far away to start thinking about possible implications of Y2038 (epochalypse).

Answer to question -> Hey, could you teach me to fly a commercial plane?

As an AI language model, I can provide you with information and guidance on how to become a pilot and the requirements to fly a commercial plane, but it's important to note that obtaining a commercial pilot's license requires extensive training, education, and experience.

First, you will need to meet certain eligibility requirements set by your country's aviation authority. These requirements typically include:

1. Age: You must be at least 18 years old to obtain a commercial pilot's license.

2. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.

3. Language proficiency: You must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently, as it's the language of international aviation.

4. Medical fitness: You must pass a medical examination and be in good health to obtain a pilot's license.

Once you meet the eligibility requirements, you will need to complete the following steps to become a commercial pilot:

1. Obtain a private pilot's license: This requires a minimum of 40-50 hours of flight training, including both solo and instructor-led flights.

2. Build flight experience: You'll need to log at least 250 hours of flight time, including a certain number of cross-country flights, night flights, and instrument flights.

3. Obtain a commercial pilot's license: This requires additional flight training and passing a written and practical exam.

4. Obtain additional certifications: Depending on the type of aircraft you want to fly, you may need to obtain additional certifications, such as a multi-engine rating or an instrument rating.

5. Gain experience and advance your career: Many commercial pilots begin their careers as co-pilots or flight instructors before advancing to captain or other positions.

Overall, becoming a commercial pilot requires a significant investment of time and money, as well as a strong commitment to safety and professionalism. It's important to carefully research and consider all aspects of this career before embarking on this path.
