Hey brother,

I believe @Martijn is 100% correct, as there is no console or ssh access available to customers on S1C mgmt server. But, maybe you can open TAC case and see if they might be able to do it.

Best,
Andy

Hi,

Maybe it is, but you have to ask TAC to perform the procedure.

A few weeks ago I had some issues with a SIC certificate on Smart-1 Cloud. There was a SK procedure to solve this on a on-prem SMS and TAC performed this procedure for me on the Smart-1 Cloud server. So with the right console access, it looks like these kind of procedures can be performed.

Let us know how it goes.

Which password are you trying to reset? One of the GWs managed by S1C? S1C itself?

As people mentioned already, you cannot run CLISH/Expert commands on S1C instance, so the best way to use the SK is to open a TAC case and ask them to help you out.

However, there is another option. See if you can execute scripts on your management server. In the policy, right-click on your MGMT server, then choose Scripts / One-time script.

This may or may not work, but if the script option is available, you can give it a shot

Hi,

You do not have console access to a Smart-1 Cloud server. So you cannot run the command's mentioned in the SK.

To my knowledge, there is no other way. By maybe our CheckMates mates can correct me on this one.

I know that I do not have access to the S1C clish; this is something that needs to be done by support. I was asking if this SK is also applicable on the S1C side.

answer from TAC:
To answer your question, yes we can reset the password using the Smart-1 Cloud access if the Gateway is communicating with SIC.
