Policy Installation Failed(Time out)-SMB Appliance

Dear Mates,

Management Server : R81.20 Take 99
FWs : R81.10.15 (996003749) 1570 Appliance(SMB Appliance).

When I push the policy to the gateways it is failing.

Status: Failed
- Installation failed. Reason: Policy install commit function was unsuccessful due to timeout.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While installing the policy, the CPU is in normal condition.

But, the memory utilization is high always.

For reference I have attached the screenshot.

Regards,
Saranya

I would suggest a reboot first! Then disable the chenged rules and try again to see if this was the cause.

What happens if you pull the policy from SMB?

Error : Policy Installation has timed out. It is possibility that connectivity with the appliance was blocked by the new policy.

This does not look like an error from SMB upon policy pull, can you provide a screenshot ? And:

Did that ever work ? Did some changes lead to the error?

From the last 20 days it is not working. Previously it was working.

We make changes like some policies which and some IOC upload.

Please find the screenshot in attachments

Has the appliance been rebooted and have you tried the optimizer script from sk183290?

Note the current build of R81.10.15 is 996003913.
