Performance of CloudGuard in virtual environment

Hello,

does anybody know about any limitation regarding performance to build a virtual firewall on VMware ESX server? Is there any limitation or performance regarding cores? Like scalability of throughput with more than 8 cores? 12 or 16 cores? Thanks

is there any recommendation?

there is no answer to that and most of the stuff is for 77.30 and NSX.
