Log file isn't shown automatically after upgrade to R82

Hello all,

I recently upgraded the virtual SMS and Appliance 9100 from R81.20 to R82 Take 36. After the update, I don't see any logs until I upload the file manually. How can I fix this? We also have an old R81.20 Take 99 security server - could this be causing a problem?

See if below applies.

R80.x & above SmartLog/SmartEvent server doesn't index/show logs older than 1-14 days back

Also, is indexing option enabled under logging tab on sms object in smart console?

First and foremost, perform "Install Database" on your management and log servers. If still having an issue, check that your GWs are not logging locally. If nothing helps, open a ticket with TAC

This is strange - indexing was turned off after the SMS update. Now everything works
