Hi Team,
So I setup R81.20 in Azure from marketplace and surprisingly after the installation and everything completed observed that 300 GB was allocated to Swap space from /dev/sdb.
So I swapoff and then using fdisk /dev/sdb
Deleted the partition
Created new LVM partition of 300 GB
Then have done the pvresize /dev/sdb1 which was successful.
Then I stopped the cp services and instead of making changes from lvm_manager I did extend from command line (As mentioned in this thread it does not need to be done from maintainance mode https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/Cloud-Network-Security/How-to-put-a-CloudGuard-VM-in-maintenance...) but still this is not reflecting in df -hT output however it does show in lvs as well as lvm_manger output
Filesystem Type Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/vg_splat-lv_current xfs 20G 12G 8.3G 59% /
/dev/sda2 ext3 291M 42M 235M 15% /boot
/dev/mapper/vg_splat-lv_log xfs 43G 5.2G 38G 13% /var/log
tmpfs tmpfs 16G 5.6M 16G 1% /dev/shm
cgroup tmpfs 16G 0 16G 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
Here is lvm_manager output
