Internal system error in HTTPS Inspection (Error Code: 2) - after Vsec Gateway Upgrade ro R80.40

HI Checkmates, 

 

Good Day, 

We had an  initiative to upgrade our R80.10 Checkpoint Mgmt / Gateway  to R80.40.

The mgmt upgrade went well.

 

The vsec Gateway also went fine but ,  

However, In the logs we noticed an Internal system error in https Inspection blade.

Internal system error in HTTPS Inspection (Error Code: 2) - this stops the https inspection for our inbound traffic going to a server

it became bypass. No change our rules and we tried to reinstalled it but still failed.

Anyone has experienced this?

 

Our deployment is the GCP , Google Cloud. - Distributed - Open servers

We made a fresh install , we introduced  new VM with new version. 

The latest hotfix was also installed for both.  Take 91

There are a couple of potential reasons for this error, but you need to do some troubleshooting.

All,

I run into the same issue after upgrading to R80.40, however, are issues were slow web responses over VPN's (would take 12-20 seconds for sites to load).  Had to put a https inspection IKE bypass rule in to resolve issues.
