Identity Agent Distributed Configuration Tool - not as expected ??

I have an environment with 6 gateways and I am trying to configure the Identity Agents for branches and would like to use the Server Discovery Based on Active Directory as I can make rules on which agents should connect to which gateway based on rule sets.

This suppose to be pretty easy if I use the Identity Agent Distributed Configuration Tool.

According to this guide , the tool should be VERY easy to use and configure :
https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/Identity_Awareness_Clients_Admin_Guide/Content/Topics-IA-Client...

The Tool should have a nice guy to let me configure all this but for the life of me , I can not seem to find the tool with GUI.

Can anybody point me in the right direction ?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry. My bad. Did you install the "Agent full" version?

Then you should see it in the starmenu

and now to something completely different - CCVS, CCAS, CCTE, CCCS, CCSM elite

"Mystery" solved ... my Windows 11 does not make the shortcut it seems.
To access this tool you need to go to :
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Check Point\Identity Agent

Or run it from run as :
"C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckPoint\Identity Agent\IdentityAgent.exe" -adtool

I actually thought that the tool would automatically appear in the Start menu as soon as you installed the full agent on your client.
Otherwise, you can proceed as follows (after installing the IA Agent, of course)

To run the Identity Agent Configuration Tool:

  1. Go to the Identity Agent installation directory.
    1. Click Start > All Programs > Check Point > Identity Agent.
    2. Right-click the Identity Agent shortcut and select Properties from the menu.
    3. Click Open File Location (Find Target in some Windows versions).
  2. Double-click IAConfigTool.exe.

The Identity Agent Configuration Tool opens.

and now to something completely different - CCVS, CCAS, CCTE, CCCS, CCSM elite

That tool is for configuring the Agent itself and the MSI package and looks like this:

What I am looking for is the Identity Agent Distributed Configuration Tool .

Thanks for the tips 🙂 Checkpoint should revise the documentation as new OS changed behavior.
Only if you search for "Distributed Configuration" you can find the shortcut.
