ICAP troubleshooting

We configured one of our cluster R80.x as client ICAP to in reqmod.

reading the following implementation guide there's no mention about logging and troubleshooting.

https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R80.40/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R80.40_ThreatPrevention_AdminGuide/...n_Gateway_mode.htm

in the configuration file there's an attribute to log but we did not find any log...

someone has some experience on how to troubleshoot this kind of integration?

thanks

In the ICAP Client configuration file ($FWDIR/conf/icap_client_blade_configuration.C) there’s an attribute ‘log_level’, by default it’s set to 0, no logs.

In order to get logs you should set that to 1/2/3.

You can find more info about the log_levels here:

https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R80.40/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R80.40_ThreatPrevention_AdminGuide/...
