How to Roll back SSH authentication on Gaia OS using RSA key files

Hi Team,

We have a requirement from one of our client to roll back SSH authentication on Gaia OS which was using RSA key files.

SSH authentication on Gaia OS using RSA key files was configured for username: admin

Question is

- Can we use both straight forward authentication for username "admin" and RSA key feature for same usename.

- How can we use SSH without RSA script for Admin. How to rollback.

Regards

Bachan

Yes, you can use either your password and RSA key to authentication to set.
“Rolling back” is merely removing the relevant entry from /home/admin/.ssh/authorized_keys.

Hi ,

Thanks for getting back.

So you mean to say we can either use password or RSA key to authenticate one at a time for same user "admin".

Unless you've explicitly disabled password authentication via SSH (possible through the relevant global configuration file), you can use either to authenticate.
