How does checkpoint takes a snapshot? I mean which linux command it uses in the background?

Hi All,

I forgot the command it uses in background when generate snapshot command is fired. I guess does it use /usr/bin/backup?

Or lvm snapshot mechansim? Or I guess dump utility?

TIA
