Gaia web portal does not load after login

Hi. I encounter an issue with Gaia portal recently. I am able to access login page to enter credential but the page keep on loading afterwards. It was not able to load the full webpage. Is this cause by a full hard disk space problem?

I know old school workaround for this, give it a go...so, windows +R, type iexplore, then go to tools -> Internet options -> advanced -> scroll all the way down and make sure all ssl and tls stuff is checked. Click ok, then ok again, restart the browser and try again.

Hi

As PhoneBoy wrote it would be helpful to know the Check Point version and the browser version you are using, but please look at the following SK to see if it applies:

Thanks for the reply but actually it was working previously until when I was executing the cpinfo command which was stuck halfway. After I cancel the cpinfo execution, the webpage is not able to load.

I suggest as an initial measure to use a different browser, one where all the caches, history etc. are completely cleared.

After talking with relevant owners in R&D:

1) Strongly suggest opening a task with TAC to investigate the flow which might have caused a process crash.

2) Please send the file /etc/features.xml - you can email directly to me at tfridman@checkpoint.com

3) Also try running running chmod 644 to that file and check if it’s working or not.

Best wishes

Tal

Hello Tal,

i just received a note from a customer that this issue has struck him a second time.
the first he got the error "CLINFR0819" and this was of course easily resolved with sk121764!

Today i got a new notes from the same customer, the other cluster member is showing exact the same issue, and today the website of this sk sk121764 states:

Capture.PNG

so my questions:

what is this file /etc/features.xml good for?
what is causing this issues?
why did Check Point remove the SK from public eyes?

and i see differences on this costumer.
healthy system, same file size all the same MD5

2.PNG

broken system, different filesizes, of course different MD5
1.PNG

so what is going on here?
best regards

Thomas

I do not Google. MetaGer. But here i just searched CP for the sk121764 and found sk180562, including CLINFR0819 in several variations. And sk123338: RADIUS / Tacacs authentication fails on CloudGuard Gateway 😎

The reason the SK is "deleted" is because the content was merged into sk180562 (just FYI).

I thought that, but there is no reference for the merge in sk180562 as in other SKs.
