Since I had few of you message me directly about this, as I always say in my posts how much I love AND use eve-ng for all my labs, figured would share some things about it.

We are actually running it on powerful open server with 512 GB of ram. As far as why sometimes image may not boot up, you may have to change NIC type to vmxnet3, I find that usually works best.

License costs about 250$ a year, so its not that bad, considering how easy it is to spin up any new firewall. Personally, longest I ever spent on doing this is 7 minutes, thats it, for any given image.

I guess you're paying for the Pro version as they offer a Free version.
I don't think we do any testing under EVE-NG, just FYI.
