Hey guys,
Maybe someone from Check Point can confirm if this is indeed an issue on backend or if something had changed, but even TAC guy yesterday confirmed he had exact same error or myself below in 2 of his R81.20 labs. Thoughts?
Tx as always. Btw, I never recall having this issue with eval license in who knows how many years, this is the first time.
DNS is fine, I verified connectivity, policy works, nslookup, curl)cli -k, ip route, all looks good. I even applied brand new eval license, same issue. Exact same problem in both R81.20 and R82 labs.
This does work, but no change, still gives same error.

Hello
me too I had the same error when a newly created gateway, I solved by loading an all-in-one evaluation license.
This is the only solution I found, I've seen this behavior occur regularly for new gateways (R81.20 in my case).
I got it. Never had to do this before, but I just applied all in one for BOTH fw and mgmt on 3 appliances in the lab and it worked fine (none of them are standalone).
O well, as long as it works, live and learn : - )
Thanks @simonemantovani

Hey Simone,
I applied exact same all in one license, which I had been doing for years, but no joy. Mind sending a screenshot of one you did?

Ok great, in my case, for I used a local (not central) evaluation license (because management was always licensed 🙂 )
honored to have helped you
Worked for the gateways, but not smart event/management : - (
Let me see what TAC says.
Got all of them working, except smart event...no matter what I apply on it, nothing works. Anyway, will keep checking...
@simonemantovani Got it all now! Had to use 2 different accounts to generate evals, but its working...thanks!
@simonemantovani I asked TAC guy to see if he can investigate this on their end, as it appears I got the issue again, very odd. Lets see what he says.
