endpoint real time scan

Is there any way to stop the Real time anti malware scan on the endpoint side.we are performing some operation due to the scan it is taking lot of time.

I want to stop the real time scan for some time and then later on I want to resume.

Believe this cannot be disabled on the client side by design.
You can push a policy where it is disabled from the management side.

I agree with phoneboy...I am positive you cannot stop it from client side, never seen that option. You could, however, as he said, set up a rule on endpoint server to control this.
