Good afternoon
I am testing the URL Filtering module, I show you my policy in the attached image policy.png. I have noticed on the test machine that the policy is not applied when I use incognito mode in any browser (firefox, edge, chrome), I show you the result in the image result.png. Is this how it works? or is there something wrong
Thanks
Hey,
As mentioned above, inspection in Incognito needs to be enabled by the user itself. The other option is blocking the use of incognito by the policy setting in the UI.
In addition, I see by the policy that you are using Harmony Endpoint, so you can join our EA program for SSL inspection and incognito will be automatically included.
@Yishay_Orlan
At least for Harmony browse Inspection in Incognito mode in Chrome / Edge can only be enabled by the user, hence the following articles are relevant: sk168435, sk171924

How can I enable SSL inspection or join that program you mentioned? I would like to have more information about it and test it in my lab
Thanks
Your local Check Point office should be able to assist here.
You can use the feedback button in the Harmony Endpoint portal to ask to join the EA program and will connect you with the relevant team.
incognito mode disables extensions by default. This happens to ensure that the extensions do not track the user's personal information
I agree with @AdiGH , thats what TAC advised customer before.
Andy
For what is worth, I tested this in my lab with fw ssl inspection enabled and worked fine with incognito window being blocked for same category sites, no issues.
Andy
Gateway based SSL inspection isn't applicable here, were discussing URLF features of the endpoint. 🙂
I know...just saying for comparison 🙂
