Problem while installing initial agent

Hello,

So im facing a problem with installing the initial agent
In the install log im getting  an error "Product: Check Point Endpoint Security -- Error 1321.The Installer has insufficient privileges to modify the file c:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\vsinit.dll"

fount this SK https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solut...

But the problem is that the error ocures in most cases for remote users so the procedure described in this SK will be problematic ( recolling about 200 laptops for service)

Maby someone had an similar case? Or the best way will by to create an support case and work with them on this case?

This means that remnants of some Check Point product presents on the machine. You definitely need to approach TAC to address this.

Hi!

What was the solution of this problem?

We have the same issue with the E88.60 Initial Client, but everything works with the E88.00 initial client version.

Thanks!

If if works for E88.00 and doesn't work for E88.60 then the issue is likely not the same. Could you provide NFO file generated by msinfo32 together with relevant installation log?

Hi!

Thank you for your answer!

First I will try to replicate the problem on my test system, see what happens.
