Issue with File Downloading in browsers

Hi Team,

We are facing a new and strange issue with Harmony Endpoint. When we download a file using a browser that has the Harmony extension installed, the original file name is not showing.

Instead, the files are being downloaded with random names like "download (1)", "download (2)", etc.Without harmony extension it is working properly.

Client Version: 88.32.2003

Hi Rock,

Incognito window it is working.because in private windows we only have harmony endpoint.

But the normal browser tab we are using two extenstion after uninstall the checkpoint extenstion it was working properly with other browser extenstion.

We have tried with 88.62 also.

Better contact CP TAC to get this resolved !

Have you tested a more recent client version or engaged TAC for assistance?

Does it happen with every browser? Have you tried in incognito window?

Are you sure that these two browser extension are supported together ? Running two different Endpoint Security Software clients is usually unsupported, so i would have to ask both vendors for confirmation that the two products can work together instead of breaking each others functionality !

K, fair enough, but if its NOT working with Check Point browser extension, probably worth opening TAC case to troubleshoot.

Out of my past experience two different endpoint solutions usually do not work on one machine as they compete and disturb each other. So if you uninstall the other extension, i bet the CP extension will work as expected.

I think that CP TAC could only repeat my words 😉

Hi all thanks for the quick respose and  i will raise the case with CP TAC team.

But,This two extension was working properly past one year in same browsers now only we are facing the issue.
