The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) in the UK has introduced an update to the Cyber Essentials scheme, a government-backed certification aimed at safeguarding UK organizations from prevalent cyber threats. The new update, version 3.1, includes modifications to malware protection and device management. This update comes after a significant overhaul of the Cyber Essentials scheme in 2022. Starting from April 24, 2023, all new applications for certification must adhere to the latest requirements and question set outlined in version 3.1. These changes will help organizations stay ahead in their defense against cyber risks.
