The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) in the UK has introduced an update to the Cyber Essentials scheme, a government-backed certification aimed at safeguarding UK organizations from prevalent cyber threats. The new update, version 3.1, includes modifications to malware protection and device management. This update comes after a significant overhaul of the Cyber Essentials scheme in 2022.
