VM Backup possibility on CloudGuard Network on OpenStack
Hello,
I see an opportunity of installing a Cloudguard Network VM on OpenStack and I was just wondering if VM backup(with Veeam let's say) is available on openstack.
Asking this because I know in MS Azure performing backup of CloudGuard Network VM is not supported - therefor management is mandatory to be on another VM.
Best wishes,
Andrei

The thing about backing up a Check Point Management instance by external tools, is that they are not able to take the Check Point Management DB state into account.
As a result, they could be taking a snapshot mid-write to the DB which could lead to issues with the snapshot.
If taking the snapshot while the instance is off, this could work as this is basically just another shut-down linux box.
