No upgrade tools package is installed for R81.20 version?
Hi all,
I am trying to upgrade the SMS from R81.10 JHF take 174 to R81.20 but getting "No upgrade tools package is installed for R81.20 version" during the upgrade verification process.
According to sk135172 - Upgrade Tools package using command "cpprod_util CPPROD_GetValue CPupgrade-tools-R81.20 BuildNumber 1" , it returned "997000853" which looks like a correct target version R81.20 upgrade tool.
Anyway I tried to download it again from Upgrade Tools Package for R81.20, import to CPUSE. It said I have it installed already.
After that I tried to use command "$MDS_FWDIR/scripts/migrate_server verify -skip_upgrade_tools_check -v R81.20" according to the SK but again I got error "No upgrade tools package is installed for R81.20 version. To download the package manually, refer to sk135172. Restart verify process using -skip_upgrade_tools_check flag." , see below
By the way I have latest DA installed, build: 2550 | R81.10 take 335. Same errors showed on Gaia Web GUI portal.
Any idea guys?
Thanks in advanced!
Bill.

Hey Bill,
If I look at the sk you referenced, this is what it shows for R81.20
[Expert@MyMgmt]# cpprod_util CPPROD_GetValue CPupgrade-tools-R81.20 BuildNumber 1
997000570
[Expert@MyMgmt]#

I would also try install R81.20 tgz package listed in the sk under downloads, see if that helps. It may tell you when you try it from web UI that same version is already installed, but worth a try.
