CloudGuard for Public Cloud In-Place upgrade - R81.10

Hi all,

anyone has experience with Cluster in-place upgrade on Azure/AWS?

sk177714 suggests to us that the upgrade procedure is pretty identical to a classic ClusterXL Upgrade (Upgrade Guide column suggests to follow R81.10 IAUG ).

Just wanna know feedback from field and if there are some points of attention.

Thank you

Note per the same SK: CloudGuard for Azure/AWS R80.30 and above

Security Gateway & Security Cluster only.

Autoscaling, Standalone & Management are not supported

Hello Chris,

thank you for your reply.

I'm aware of that, like i said I'm asking about a Cluster environment

Hi,

I did a few in LAB environments. The procedure is the same as upgrading a regular Cluster.

- Upgrade the first member.

- Install policy on the new member

- turn on MVC to sync connections and failover

- upgrade the second member.

it seems that Azure in-place packages are just deleted from sk177714

An issue with the Azure in-place upgrade was identified that may cause a connectivity issue after a reboot. We will be releasing a new package soon as well as a fix process to anyone who has already upgraded.

SK177714 will be updated with this information as well.
