Hi all! First time poster in API section, long time lurker.
I'd like to present our first open source tool called Pointix created by Devin Marks (@spikefishsolutions). This tool is used to pull checkpoint devices into Zabbix via API calls to a management server. The main goal of Pointix is to not use snmp for checkpoint device discovery as snmp has too many ways it can silently fail. With this tool you can hook everything together and start monitoring checkpoint devices immediately. Something wrong with snmp? Well now you have a dashboard showing you there is a device you can't communicate with via snmp as well.
